Replica Aircraft
The museum houses a collection of faithfully reproduced WWI-era aircraft, built to exacting standards. These are not static displays -- they are maintained in airworthy condition and fly on museum open days when weather allows.
History & Education
The museum provides an educational experience covering the role of aviation in the Great War, the pilots who flew these aircraft, and the technological innovations that shaped aerial combat. Knowledgeable volunteers are on hand to answer questions.
Group Tours
The Great War Flying Museum can be added to a BFC airport walking tour for an additional fee. Group tours of the museum are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays by arrangement.

The Great War Flying Museum has been operating at Brampton-Caledon Airport since 1970, making it one of the longest-running aviation museums in the country. Over the decades, a dedicated group of volunteers has built, maintained, and flown an impressive fleet of WWI replica aircraft, keeping the memory of early aviation alive for new generations.
