How It Compares to the IATPL
The College Program covers the same core flight training as the IATPL program but is completed in 14 months rather than 20. The IATPL program includes additional components such as CAE Level D simulator training, multi-crew cooperation (MCC), jet orientation, and ATPL written exam preparation that are not included in the College Program.
Both programs lead to the same licences and ratings (CPL, Multi-Engine, Group 1 IFR) and both qualify graduates for airline pathway programs. The choice between the two depends on your budget, timeline, and career goals.
